Saving copy as

Working with documents and NDW and NPL files

You can use the Save Copy As... (How) tool to save a copy of the current document as an NDW file of the current version 2016 or in 2015, 2014 or 2013 format. In addition, you can save the document as a wizard file with or without resources (*.nas file type), as a symbol (*.sym file type) and as a compressed file (*.zip file type).

Activate Save Copy As... in one of the following ways

• Menu bar: File

Unlike Save As..., the current document remains unaltered and open.

Note: You can insert *.sym files using the Library palette - Symbols - Symbol file folder.
