Saving drawing files as NDW files

Working with documents and NDW and NPL files

Allplan provides several options for saving one or more drawing files as NDW files. The options that are actually available to you depend on the license you are using. See also Restrictions when using NDW files.

Save Copy As (How)

Activate Save Copy As... in one of the following ways

• Menu bar: File

You can use this tool to save a copy of the current drawing file as an NDW file of the current version 2016 or in 2015, 2014 or 2013 format.

Export Loaded Drawing Files with Resources (How)

Activate Export Loaded Drawing Files with Resources in one of the following ways

• Menu bar: File Export

You can use this tool to save all the loaded drawing files (the current drawing file and the files open in edit and reference mode) as individual NDW files. A separate NDW file is generated for each drawing file. The NDW files are automatically given the names of the drawing files.
