Assign attributes to drawing files

Using Attributes

Drawing files can be assigned attributes. You can then apply a filter to define which drawing files are displayed in the Open on a project-specific basis: drawing files from fileset/building structure dialog box based on these attributes. To find out which attributes can be assigned, see Overview of available drawing file attributes.

To assign attributes to drawing files

1. Click Open on a Project-Specific Basis (How).
   

   Activate Open on a Project-Specific Basis... in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: File

   • Keyboard: Ctrl+Alt+O

   • Toolbar: Standard
2. Select the drawing files to be assigned attributes and then click in the selection with the right mouse button.
3. On the shortcut menu, click Properties.
4. Select the Settings tab and assign the desired attributes.
