Copying folders or library elements in the library palette

Tool(s): Smart Symbol Catalog + Symbols + Smart Symbols + SmartParts

To copy folders or library elements from one folder in the library to another folder

1. Open the Library palette in one of the following ways:
   • Select the Library palette.

     Note: You cannot insert folders or library elements in the Default folder.

2. Navigate to the folder or library element you want to copy.
3. Point to the folder or library element you want to copy and click Modify.
4. Click Copy.

   The folder or library element are copied to the Windows clipboard.

5. Select the folder to which you want to add the folder or library element.
6. Click the folder with the right mouse button and choose Insert on the shortcut menu.

   The folder and its entire contents or the library element are inserted.
