Sheet size

You can set a fixed sheet size or have it selected by the program.

Sheet size:

Fixed: when creating the element plans, the program uses the sheet size defined in Selection. You cannot change this in the element plan using Modify Element Plan.

Auto-select: when creating the element plans, the program uses one of the sheet sizes defined in Selection. It chooses the size that works best with the scale given. If possible, the program chooses the sheet size in such a way that the drawing and the other layout elements do not overlap.

Selection:

You can select the sheet size by specifying the path, file number and number of the entry. If this area is closed, the selected setting is displayed here.

If you have selected Auto-select for the sheet size, the Selection area shows the number of the current sheet size and the total number of the sheet sizes you have defined so far. and take you from sheet size to sheet size. You can change each sheet size.
Click to define more sheet sizes in a dialog box. Here, you can also sort and delete the sheet sizes.

Select path: specifies the path for the sheet size. You can choose between Default and Office.

File no. / Entry no.: shows the number of the file and sheet size Allplan created as a list.
In the Default path, you can use only the entries 11 to 20 in file 42. In the Office path, you can access all lists in file 45.

Scale

For a fixed sheet size, you can have the program calculate the scale automatically or you can enter a fixed value. If the program selects the sheet size automatically, you must define a fixed scale.
In the Modify Element Plan dialog box, you can change the way the program selects the scale. You can also change the value of the scale.

Scale / Maximum size:

The program creates the element plan using the scale that gets the most out of the workspace. This, however, often leads to scales that are not commonly used in the building industry.

Scale / Auto-select:

If the program selects the scale for the element plan automatically, these are the scales the program can choose from. The program uses the largest possible scale.

Scale / Fixed:

The program always uses this fixed scale for creating element plans.
