Zooming in on a section
View, perspective and scale
Allplan provides several options for zooming in on areas.
To zoom in on an area of the design
- To zoom in real time, press the ALT key and drag the mouse (by pressing and holding down the middle mouse button) upwards. This zooms in on the drawing. When you drag the mouse downwards, you zoom out. Release the mouse button to quit zooming. The center of zooming is the position of the cursor. When you are using a mouse that is equipped with a mouse wheel, you can zoom in real time by turning the mouse wheel.
- In the lower border of a viewport, click
Zoom Section (How) and then click two diagonally-opposite points in the workspace. If several viewports are open, the zoomed section is displayed in the viewport in which you clicked the button. (You can define the section, however, in any of the other viewports.) Requirements: you have not selected a perspective view and the same view is displayed in both viewports. - Click in the workspace with the right mouse button and open a selection rectangle without releasing the mouse button. You can also zoom in on sections as you select elements. To do this, use the right mouse button.
- Click
Enlarge View (How). The display scale halves. Clicking
Reduce View (How) doubles the display scale and displays a larger portion of the design. The center of zooming is the middle of the window. - Click Display Scale (How) and enter a scale. The setting applies to the current viewport.
