Cast-in nuts for guardrail system

To create cast-in nuts for guardrail system

1. Click Assembly Parts (How) and then Cast-in nuts for guardrail system on the context toolbar.
   

   Activate Assembly Parts in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Precast Factories Precast Wall

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Precast Wall

2. Click Properties to define the parameters for the cast-in nuts.
   • Position: the cast-in nuts can be built into both leaves or into the visible or invisible shell (side) seen from the triangle symbol, which indicates the viewing direction.
   • Fixture: select a cast-in nut by clicking File and Entry.
   • Offset: offset from cast-in nut axes to the top of the element or maximum offset between the individual cast-in nut axes. Enter the values in the unit of length set.

     You can use and to save the settings you make to a favorite file and retrieve settings you have already saved.

3. Select the relevant walls and confirm by clicking with the right mouse button in the workspace
   Or:
   double-click with the right mouse button or click All in the Input options to select all the walls.

   The cast-in nuts are now designed in accordance with the criteria entered and placed from the middle towards the edges. If necessary, the program reduces the specified offset between the individual cast-in nuts so that the residual edge offset of a cast-in nut is half the axis spacing.
