Toolbars

User interface

Toolbars contain icons that you can use to execute functions. Positioning the cursor over an icon displays a ToolTip with a short description of the function.

You can arrange toolbars around the edge of the workspace (this is the default) or make them float anywhere on your screen. To float a toolbar, click the top border of the toolbar or its edge, press and hold down the left mouse button, and drag the toolbar into the workspace.

You can use Fix Toolbars on the View menu to protect the toolbars from being moved inadvertently.
