Design configuration entry

Configuration(s): Structural precast elements: general entry

'Element parameters' tab

Component name:

Component name proposed in the Attributes tab of all components. You can use the Element plan configuration entry in the program sequence configuration to configure the program to include this component name in the file names of the export files.

Additional text for mark number:

Complementary text for mark number.

Factor:

Proposed value for factor in the Invoicing tab of all components.

Concrete grade:

Preset concrete grades for the design. The list box includes all the entries that are defined in the concrete grade catalog and assigned to the current factory.

Exposure class:

Preset for the exposure class.
You need to include the exposure class in reinforcement drawings according to DIN 1045-1, section 4.2.1 (3). Among other things, cement formulation, minimum concrete cover and minimum concrete strength grade depend on the exposure class.

Concrete cover:

[cm] The standard value for concrete cover.

Steel grade:

Enter the steel grade of the reinforcement used. The list box includes all the entries defined in the steel grade catalog.

'Marks' tab

Assignment of marks:

Specify which mark numbers are assigned to precast elements when they are created. Elements that are modified later are also given the mark numbers specified here. This also applies if you have rearranged the elements manually using the Modify Mark Number tool in the meantime.

Zero: the elements are initially assigned the mark number zero and will be rearranged manually later.

Ascending: the elements are assigned numbers in ascending order.

Identical: while creating elements, the program automatically performs various checks based on the following criteria:

If you specify an existing mark number, the program compares the new element with the existing precast elements of the mark number specified. If the results of this comparison meet the criteria for identical elements, the mark number specified is used and the new element is added to the group.
If the criteria are not met, the precast element is given the next highest, unassigned mark number. The new element is not compared with other precast elements that may be identical.

Note: When you place fixtures and reinforcement in precast elements with identical marks numbers, please note that any change you make affects all the other precast elements of the same group. It is irrelevant whether you change the placing drawing, element plan or use the edit element tool. To prevent individual precast elements form being affected, you need to split them off manually from the relevant group beforehand. To do this, use the Modify Mark Number tool.

Assign precast ID
Link foundation to column / Maximum joint for link:

When this option is enabled, a foundation placed below a column gets the same precast ID as the column (if the maximum joint distance between foundation and column is met). The same is true if a column is placed above a foundation and the distance is met.
This way, foundations and columns belonging together can easily and quickly be detected when they are placed in different layouts (if you have configured the element labels accordingly).

Note: You cannot change the precast IDs of these foundations and/or columns manually!
