'General' tab
Created on:
Date of creation of the data record.
Last modified:
The most recent modification date.
Name:
User-defined name used for element design.
Description:
User-defined name that can be included in labels for element plans or lists/schedules (not yet implemented).
Search criterion:
By entering a search criterion for reinforcement parameters in the design tool, you can filter the reinforcement types. This enables you e.g., to use just reinforcement types complying with a search criterion "Q".
The search criterion could also be used as a limit to length by entering "L= " along with a value. If you enter e.g., "L=2", then this reinforcement type is only used up to a panel length of 2m. This function allows you to use several reinforcement types with the same as-Value for different panel lengths. It is assumed that the reinforcement types are created in ascending as-Values.
'Rib reinforcement' tab
The values you enter here apply to the bottom reinforcement in ribs of TT slabs.
'Reinforcement of topping slab' tab
The values you enter here apply to the top reinforcement in topping slabs of TT slabs.
The following applies for both tabs:
Longitudinal bars:
Selection box for the diameter catalog. You can specify up to 3 or 2 longitudinal bar diameters (layers) for the bottom reinforcement in the ribs and the top reinforcement in the topping slab.
Cross bars:
Selection box for the diameter catalog. You can specify up to 2 cross bar diameters (layers) for the top reinforcement in the topping slab. The first layer is mostly used for spacers (see NC generator configuration), the second to place the required amount of cross bar reinforcement.
Distribution:
Offsets or pattern of the bars. This is mainly entered with edge offset and distribution parameters (e.g., 50,200*60 = 50mm edge offset, then 200mm up to 60 times). You can enter a reference letter for the filling mode (pattern): the formula fills a data entry field, which has a limit of 200 entries. You can also have a maximum of 200 bars per layer. If the formula exceeds 200 entries, then the placement does not fill the panel. (For example: 30.50*199 places cross bars up to max. 9.98m (199*5 +3cm edge offset). A 10.5m long panel would be too long).
N: (normal): (does not have to be specified) start of placement from one side to the end of the panel.
S: (symmetrical): start of placement from middle outward to both sides.
K: (edge): start of placement first from one side to the middle and then from the other side to the middle.
Z: number of bars between the ribs. The number must be less than 8.
U: number of bars in the area of the ribs. You must enter a negative number.
The values must be separated by commas.
The first number shows the edge offset or first offset; the other numbers indicate the spacing between axes. Enter * to multiply. Parentheses are also supported.
You have to enter a total for the number of bars such that the maximum panel width or length can be fully covered. It does not matter if you have too many repetitions, because at the panel end the placement is just terminated.
Meshes:
Selection box for the mesh catalog. You can specify up to 2 basic meshes for the top reinforcement in the topping slab.
Height:
You can enter the exact height of the reinforcement (tendons, bars, meshes) in [mm]. If this box includes a value, the program creates the axis of the reinforcement at the height specified here without taking the concrete cover entered into account. If the value is 0, the position of the reinforcement is calculated from the concrete cover entered.
For rib reinforcement, the value entered for the height is measured from the bottom level of the ribs to the top and from the top level of the slab to the bottom for the top reinforcement in the topping slab.
as-Value:
as-Values of the reinforcement type. The program searches the reinforcement types for the as-Value of the bottom reinforcement, if you reinforce according to "as required".
'->Panel type' tab
Assignment of the individual entries to the appropriate panel types.
The selected entry is applicable only to the selected panel types. If no panel type is selected, the entry is valid for all the panel types.
