Creating projects
To create a new project based on a project template
- ProjectPilot and click
Create New Project.Or:
On the File menu, click
New Project, Open Project... and then
New Project.
- Enter the name of the new project in the New Project dialog box. Please see the notes on .
- For Workgroup Manager only: select the computer where you want to create the project.
- Select the project template you need and click OK.
To create a new project without a project template
- ProjectPilot and click
Create New Project.Or:
On the File menu, click
New Project, Open Project... and then
New Project.
- Enter the name of the new project in the New Project dialog box. Please see the notes on .
- For Workgroup Manager only: select the computer where you want to create the project.
- In the Project templates area, select No project template.
- Specify whether you want to use the project resources of the office standard or project-specific resources. When you select Project, the program copies the office standard to the project. You can also use the project resources from any other project by clicking
. For more information, see Using project resources. - Specify whether you want to apply a structure template to the project and click Finish.
