Cross-section

Name

Enter a meaningful name for the cross-section.

Type

You can specify the number of corners for the cross-section. When a custom cross-section is used, the Freeform check box is active.

You can enter values between 4 and 72 in the Polygon with … corners box.

Width

Define the width of the cross-section in mm.

Height

Define the height of the cross-section in mm.

Vertical height

When this option is active, the height of the element is always measured vertically even when the railing is inclined.

Otherwise, the height is always measured so that it is perpendicular to the element.

Mirror cross-section

Use this to mirror the outline of the cross-section.

Rotate cross-section

Use this to rotate the outline of the cross-section.

Get cross-section

Use this to import any cross-sections from Allplan.
You can only import cross-sections that consist of closed 2D polylines.
