Division style

The plan view of the base edge defines the length to be divided; in other words, the length of the path in the XY plane is determined and divided accordingly.

You can specify whether the number of divisions is to be fixed (Division) or whether the path is to be divided into fields of a fixed size (Offset), e.g. at intervals of 2 m.

You can define a part that cannot be divided - an Offset - at the start and end of each region.

You can make the following settings for the offsets at the start and end:

• Fixed - the exact length you entered is used.
• Not fixed - the length entered is handled as the minimum value.

The Division and Offset parameters as well as the settings for the offsets are referred to as a Division style.

If a railing consists of several regions, each region has its own division style.
