Changing roofscape and replacing it in the plane model

To replace a roofscape in a plane model

• The drawing file with the modified roofscape is available.
  If the drawing file with the original roofscape is not available for modifications, you can create the roofscape in an empty drawing file and modify it there.

1. Click Open on a Project-Specific Basis and select the Building structure tab.
2. Click Floor manager in the Open on a Project-Specific Basis: Drawing Files from Fileset/Building Structure dialog box.
3. Select the roofscape you want to replace.
4. Click Replace roofscape near the bottom of the Floor manager dialog box or on the shortcut menu of the roofscape.
5. In the Use roofscape from document area in the Insert roofscape dialog box, select the source which was used to create the relevant roofscape:
   • From drawing file
   • From NDW file
6. Select the relevant file and click OK twice to confirm.
7. Specify how the roofscape is to be inserted in the current plane model:
   • Do not change roofscape (compared with source).
   • The bottom level of the roofscape is equivalent to the bottom of the story; top levels are retained.
   • The roofscape as a whole is moved to the height of the bottom of the story.
8. Click OK to confirm.

   The program replaces the existing roofscape with the new one in all the drawing files.

   Note: If you use Insert roofscape instead, you need to create the roof planes again in all the drawing files.
