"New model", "Modify model" dialog box

To access the New model or Modify model dialog box, click or in the Floor Manager dialog box.

New model

Model name

Enter a name for the plane model here.

Number of stories above 0.00

Enter the number of stories above 0.00 (max. 100).

Number of stories below 0.00

Enter the number of stories below 0.00 (max. 100).

Name of first story above 0.00

Select a name for the first story above 0.00. You can choose between ground floor, 0. upper floor and 1. upper floor. The names of the floors above adapt accordingly. You cannot change this setting later.

Height of unfinished floor on GF

Enter the height of the unfinished floor on the ground floor.

Enter height values for various elements here.

Clear height between unfinished slabs

Enter the clear height between the unfinished slabs. This is equivalent to the distance between the upper and lower default reference planes.

Slab thickness

Enter the slab thickness here. This is equivalent to the distance between the upper default reference plane and the lower default reference plane of the floor above.

Thickness of floor slab

Enter the thickness of the floor slab here. This is equivalent to the distance between the upper default reference plane of the foundation and the lower default reference plane of the floor above.

Height of foundation

Enter the height of the foundation here.

Maximum, minimum absolute elevation point of structure

Enter the maximum and minimum absolute elevation points of the building here. This is equivalent to the upper and lower default reference planes of the building.

Building structure

Create, extend building structure

If you select the "Create, extend building structure" check box, Allplan uses the plane model to create a new building structure or to modify an existing building structure.
