"Create, extend building structure" dialog box

The Create, extend building structure dialog box opens when you create a new plane model in the floor manager and select the Create, extend building structure option in the New model dialog box.

You can use this dialog box to specify which drawing files you want to assign to the individual structural levels.

Building structure and layout structure

Assign drawing files

When you select this check box, Allplan assigns drawing files to the individual structural levels. When you do not select this check box, Allplan creates only the building structure without assigning drawing files.

First drawing file

Specify the drawing file number at which Allplan is to start creating the structure.

Increment

Specify how many drawing files you want to create for each structural level.

You can use these buttons to change the sequence of the Story structural levels. You cannot modify the sequence of the other structural levels. You can use and to arrange the structural levels in accordance with the drawing file numbers.

Structural level

You can see the structural levels Allplan creates.

Name

You can enter a name for the structural level. Allplan then uses this name for the building structure (instead of the default name).

From file / To file

You can specify the first and last drawing file number of the structural level.

Derived from building structure

Add views

When you select this check box, the building structure automatically gets views.

Add sections

When you select this check box, the building structure automatically gets sections.

First drawing file

Specify the drawing file number starting at which Allplan is to assign views or sections.

Increment

Specify how many drawing files you want to create for each structural level.
