Create new group for line styles / area styles

To create a new group for line styles / area styles

1. Open the Define, manage line styles, area styles, drawing types dialog box.

   How to access the dialog box

   • On the Tools menu, click Defaults. Select Line styles, area styles, drawing types and then click New, manage....

     Or

     Click Select, Set Layers(How), select the Format Definition tab, click Manage line styles, area styles, drawing types and then New, manage....

     

     Activate Select, Set Layers in one of the following ways

     • Menu bar: Format

     • Keyboard: Ctrl+4

     • Toolbar: Format

   Note: The You are modifying the line styles in the office folder message indicates that you are about to change the settings of the office standard.

2. In the Line style settings or Area style settings area, click the New, manage... button.
3. Click in the Group column, enter a name for the new group and click OK to confirm.

   Note: You can also create a new group when you create a new line style or area style.
