Representation of finish elements: Allplan BCM building groups

Materials of finishing surfaces assigned to rooms, which are associated with an Allplan BCM element master, are often very complex: for example, the structure of the finishing surface can vary depending on the material of the adjacent wall. You can also assign a texture to these surfaces in Allplan BCM. In particular, this is the case if you work with IBD CAD planning data and IBD building elements.

Viewports with textures may be much slower, as the program first needs to scan the Allplan BCM building groups for textures assigned.

You can use the Areas from Allplan BCM building groups option to hide the surfaces assigned in Allplan BCM.
