When you usually configure an output channel in a network environment, the relevant printer accesses the share name specified in the network.
The situation is different with a network printer including its own network card: you want to start print jobs straight from your computer. In addition, these jobs are to be processed by your computer.
In this case, you need to install the printer driver for the network printer on every computer (under the same name) and select this driver under Print via:.
