bottom or invisible top or visible

You can use the bottom/top or invisible/visible buttons to select the reinforcement layer for additional reinforcement. These settings are not available for multi-layer wall types with two reinforcement layers per construction layer. Here, the reinforcement units I2 or V1 are preset. These are the reinforcement layers at the surface.

Note on walls:
Each wall has a viewing direction, which is defined by the position of the triangle symbol. Due to the viewing direction, there is a visible and an invisible wall side.

Symbols for wall type and visible side of a wall

The following symbols are used to mark the individual wall types. Deleting the symbol automatically deletes the entire design.

The side where the symbol is displayed indicates the visible side.
For concrete walls, this is the top (rough) surface in production (filling side).
For double walls, this is normally leaf 2, which is produced after leaf 1 and into which the predefined leaf 1 (plus the girders) is flipped.
For wall panels, it is the side that directly rests on the table in production.
For thermal walls, this is leaf 1 for production. The lattice girders or fixtures used to connect the leaves are assigned to this side and the insulation is always applied to it.

On both sides

Select this button to place additional bars or additional meshes in both wall sides or leaves in one step. These settings are not available for multi-layer wall types with two reinforcement layers per construction layer. Here, the reinforcement units I2 + V1 are preset. These are the two reinforcement layers at the surface.

Note: If you want to place additional reinforcement in the in-situ concrete layer, you cannot select this layer as the reinforcement unit. So you first need to select invisible or visible and then you can open the dialog box with the placing parameters for additional reinforcement and define the layer depth so that the reinforcement is placed in the in-situ concrete area.
