Set Camera Path
Camera properties
Camera name
Name of the current camera path.
Perspective view
Defines the perspective view for the entire movie.
When you select this check box, you can see the model in central perspective; otherwise, the program uses parallel projection.
Cameras
Record movie
Opens the Name of camera path palette, where you can define the parameters for a movie and start recording it (see Record Movie ->
From camera path).
Number of camera
Displays the camera positions you defined for the camera path.
Click a camera position to open the Edit camera palette, where you can edit the position and parameters of the selected camera position. You can also delete it from the camera path. The camera position appears in selection color in the viewports.
Match camera setting from current viewport
Only if you point to one of the camera positions
Matches the eye point and the target point from the current view for the camera position and matches the target point for the viewing direction.
Show camera position in current viewport
Only if you point to one of the camera positions
Displays the current view of the camera position in the current viewport. This view is defined the eye point and the target point (Edit camera palette).
This tool is particularly useful if you want to check the viewing angle and view of the individual camera positions.
Toolbar at the bottom
Add new camera
Opens the Edit camera palette, where you can define parameters for a new camera position.
Delete camera path
Deletes the current camera path.
Load favorite
Loads a camera path from a favorite file (see Saving and loading favorites of parameter settings).
Save as a favorite
Saves the current camera path to a favorite file (see Saving and loading favorites of parameter settings).
