Specify whether finishing surfaces, special surfaces and baseboard are visible in viewports. In addition, you can select the view types in which you want to display these finish elements.
The setting you make here applies to finishing surfaces and baseboard you create with Room or
Finish Specifications and to special surfaces and baseboard you create with
Vertical Surface,
Floor Surface,
Ceiling or
Baseboard.
Using the list box to the right of Finish elements, you can specify whether you want to display the finish elements in All view types (except Wireframe in plan view) or in Shaded view types only (Hidden, Animation).
Allplan displays the finish elements as follows:
Note: You can enter these surfaces in the Rooms, Surfaces, Stories module.
Tip: Animation of finishing surfaces and special surfaces is time-consuming. What's more, these surfaces are not even necessary for views from the outside. So you should select this option only if you want to render interior scenes, for example.
Tip: If you want to view the floor plan from the top, just switch off the ceilings.
