Point snap methods
Offset by radius finds the point of intersection of two imaginary circles.
To find the point of intersection between two imaginary arcs or circles
- After activating a design tool, click
Offset by radius on the shortcut menu. - Click the center of the first circle.
- Define the radius of the first circle in one of the following ways:
- Click a point through which the circle is to pass.
- Click an element that is to be at a tangent to the circle.
- Enter the radius in the dialog line.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the second circle.
The two points where the circles intersect are displayed as temporary points.
- Click one of the points of intersection.
