Track tracing (F11)

Activates track tracing.
While making entries, you can use the F11 key or Track line in the dialog line to switch track tracing on or off without having to open this dialog box.

Extension

Creates a temporary construction line stretching from linear elements when you point to the end of a linear element.

Orthogonal track lines

Activates orthogonal track lines.

Polar track lines

Activates polar track lines.

Cursor snap

Defines the cursor snap angle for polar track lines.

Perpendicular

Drops a perpendicular to the element to which you point after you have specified the starting point of a new linear element.

Parallel line

Draws a construction line parallel to an existing line after you have specified the starting point of a new line.

Assumed point of intersection

Snaps to the point where two elements intersect even when these elements are not in the same plane.

Switch between X and Y data entry boxes automatically

You can specify whether Allplan is to switch automatically between the dX and dY boxes when you enter values at the keyboard. When track tracing is on, this option is switched off by default, because you can enter the length of an element or specify the offset using dX.
