Display parameters for point symbols and terrain points

Tool(s): Point Symbol + Parameters for terrain points

You can make the following settings in the Point Symbol dialog box:

Symbols

Select the point symbol used to represent the point or terrain point here.

Symbol size in mm/inches

Enter the actual size of the symbol in [mm] or [inches].

Symbol angle in degrees

You can define the angle at which the point symbol is placed here.

Constant size in layout

When you select this check box, the size of the point symbol changes with the reference scale. Otherwise, the size of the point symbol remains unchanged.

Also rotate symbol

When you select this check box, the symbol is also rotated during rotation operations. Otherwise, it remains unchanged and only the text rotates.

Connect symbols with line

When you select this check box, the point symbols placed are joined up with a line.
Note: If Blanking on/off is selected on the Special toolbar, the lines in the area of the point symbols will be hidden.

Copies the symbol parameters from an existing point or terrain point. The settings for text and control point offset are not used.

To hide the point symbol, click Off.
