Click Properties to open a dialog box where you can enter parameters and attributes for block foundations.
This dialog box offers a wide range of parameters. You can change these before you create the component or as you do so. Previews provide information on the options available for entering foundations.
Outline
Square
Click to select a square outline.
Rectangular
Click to select a rectangular outline.
Circular
Click to select a circular outline.
Freeform
Click to select a freeform outline.
Enter the outline as you would a polyline.
Beveled at top
Click to create a rectangular foundation with a cross-section tapered upward.
Beveled at bottom
Click to create a rectangular foundation with a cross-section tapered downward.
Positioning
Centered below column, wall, chimney
When you enable the Centered below column, wall, chimney option and enter or match the dimensions of one of these components, Allplan automatically calculates the drop-in point. All you need to do is click the midpoint or a corner of the component in question in order to place the block foundation.
Parameters, attributes
Height column
The height of the component is displayed here. Click in the column to change it.
Click in the Height setup column to define the height setup of a component or construction layer. You can define the height as an absolute value. You can also associate the height of the element with default or custom reference planes or relative to other building elements.

format properties

You can define the format properties for the block foundation.
Note: The properties set on the Format toolbar have no effect on the block foundation; the settings you make here apply.
You can assign a custom surface to the block foundation. You can also change the surface you have already assigned. These surfaces appear in viewports with the Animation view type (and in the Animation module).

Favorite QuickSelect
Clicking the arrow on the right opens a list presenting the 20 favorites you used last for selection.
Match parameters
You can copy the parameters from an existing component. The parameters are entered in the dialog box and you can modify them.
