Entity-Based Component

To draw an entity-based component along a closed outline

• First you need to create the basic 2D entities in the Draft module.
• Open the Options - Desktop environment - Display page - Element marker area and select the check boxes for the Element control symbol and Element direction symbol. Now the start and control points of the 2D entities are displayed.
• A tool for creating linear components is active (e.g. Wall or Strip Foundation). You have already defined the component’s parameters.

1. To define the start and end points of the component, click a defined point on the closed outline twice.

2. Click in the workspace to define the entity-based component's offset direction.
