Defining groups

Tool(s): Drawing Symbol Regulations

• The Group Definition button is locked in the Drawing Symbol Regulations catalog that comes with the program. You cannot modify this catalog, which is in the ETC folder (default path).
  If you want to change the default drawing symbol regulations, you must copy the catalog to the office standard and assign it to the project.

You can use the Group Definition button to change the following settings of drawing symbol groups:

• You can change the name of a drawing symbol group in the Name column.
• Select the check box in the Occupancy column to enter occupancy codes for the drawing symbol group. When this check box is selected, you can click the Occup button when placing the area.

  Note: at the beginning of the line of the drawing symbol group indicates that you can enter occupancy codes.

• You can change regulations in the Legal basis column.
