Land use act
You can choose settings for the story according to the land use act.
Add to floor area of building
You can choose to add the story to the floor area of the building.
Add in full to story area (full story)
You can choose to add the full story to the floor area of the building.
Add to story area although story where room is located is not a full story
You can choose to add a habitable room to the floor area of the building, even though the room is in a story that is not a full story. Enter the habitable room and the other parts of the story as a substory with the corresponding parameters.
The Area Calculation, Application tool uses the type of area calculation and height division when analyzing the data.
Do not add to story area
You can choose not to add the story to the floor area of the building.

Enclosure type
Enter the enclosure type here. Click Enclosure type... to select the enclosure type by clicking.
Area type (for stories)
Use this to enter the area type, which defines how a story is to be analyzed and evaluated.
Click Area type... to select the area type in a dialog box.
Quick select floor area, story area, enclosure
Point and click in the graphic to select the desired type. The settings in the Land use act area update accordingly.
Note: The graphic represents the sample building code. For example, if the basement is more than 1.4 m above the top level of the terrain, then it becomes a full story and is thus included in the calculation of story area. You can control this using the check boxes provided.
These values can be set to reflect different national building codes.
