Selection criterion and parameters for surface elements
Assigning surface elements to specific rooms, surfaces or stories
Define the selection criterion for assigning surface elements to rooms, surfaces or stories as follows:
- In the Selection criterion area, select the architectural element to which you want to apply a hatching style, pattern or fill.
Room is preset in the Criterion field. Before you can select a different architectural element, you need to delete this criterion line by clicking
. - Click to define the architectural element more precisely.
- You can use the buttons in the Boolean and Operators areas to associate the architectural element with attributes.
- You can use the buttons in the Numbers area to enter figures directly (and not at the keyboard).
- When you click the Criterion field, you can make entries via the keyboard.
- You can delete the last entry in the Criterion field by clicking
Remove line.
Define the graphical identifier as follows:
- Select the surface element (Hatching, Pattern, Fill,Bitmap area or Style area) in the Representation area.
- Use Edge and enter the distance to the edge if the graphic identifier is not to fill out the elements completely.
- Click
to match the representation of existing surface elements.
Note: Click
Save as a favorite to save the current settings of the selection criteria as a favorite file.
Click
Load favorite to retrieve saved settings later and adjust them, if necessary.
Example
To find and highlight all rooms larger than 15 m², you would use the following syntax:
OBJECT=Room&Floor surface>15
The criterion is met when the condition both before and after the & is true.
