Custom surface

Ceiling, Floor, Vertical Surface, parameters + Finish tab, parameters + Story tab, parameters

You can assign an animation surface to the element or covering. The program uses this surface in viewports with the Animation view type and in rendered images you create using the Render tool.

You can select these surfaces in the Surfaces palette.

Note: If you want to create a new surface, click New surface, define a new surface and save it as a surface file (SURF format, Allplan surface file). You can then select the new surface in the Surfaces palette.

Note: You can enter the surfaces that enclose the story in Story.

Note: If a surface consists of several layers, you must assign the animation surface to the layer at the top so that it is used in animation.

Tip: The program displays the surface it uses for animation separately in the dialog box so that you can check it.

Note: As in quantity takeoff operations, the animation surfaces of special surfaces have a higher priority than the "normal" finishing surfaces. This way, you can display different surfaces on the same wall (e.g., picture, mirror and wallpaper).
