Material

In the tab Materials you can manage all materials used in the project.

Create new standards, materials and material values by using the context menu.

The material values are displayed in the Property window and you can edit them there.

To use the material in external software programs you need to define the reference name in the Property window in the field Foreign name:

The syntax for exporting the material to an RM TCL file is:

Group name:Material name

I.e. group name and material name are separated by a colon, e.g.:

EN_Eurocode:C35/45

Use the context menu to import materials from the Bimplus database. For this you need to login to Bimplus first.

For materials of the category Concrete, there is an additional menu point Code-dependent values in the context menu of the respective material. This allows for evaluating the values of fcm and fctm according to the formula given in Table 3.1., EN 1992-1-1 depending on the inputted value of fck.
