Create a line by relative angle
Create a parametric line through an intersection point of two lines and by a relative angle to a param. line for defining the direction
To create a line by relative angle
- Click Line by relative angle.
- Click the first intersection point of two lines or a parametric point, through which the new line should pass.
- Click an arbitrary parametric line, which should be used as reference line for the relative angle.
- Move the mouse in the direction of the desired position of the line to be created and input the desired relative angle in relation to the previously defined reference line in the appearing text box. Alternatively, you can define the position directly with the mouse cursor. Confirm the input in both cases with the enter key or the left mouse button.
Hint: Positive angles are oriented clockwise, negative angles counterclockwise.
- Directly create further lines by relative angle (back to 2.) or quit the tool with ESC.
