Delete

Selectively delete particular types of objects:

• Parametric line
• Parametric point
• Boundary
• Boundary point
• Structural unit
• Reference point
• Point Grids
• Property Set points
• Smart symbol placement
• PythonPart placement

The preselection of a particular object type facilitates the selection of the respective objects in the view window without having to scroll through many unwanted objects in the drop-down list.

To delete objects in the view window

1. Click Delete and select the desired object type in the drop-down menu.
2. Click the object you want to delete in the view window.
3. Directly delete further objects of the same type (back to 2.) or quit the tool with ESC.

Alternatively, without using this function, directly click a desired object with the mouse and delete it by the respective function in the context menu or with DEL.

Use the function Purge parametric lines/points to delete all unused param. lines and points in one go (i.e. all lines and points from which no objects of other types are dependent).
