Import ALLPLAN Civil data

You can also start ALLPLAN Civil directly outside of ALLPLAN. Use this tool to import existing ALLPLAN Civil project data thus created. When importing you have to select the respective project directory with the ALLPLAN Civil data to link the two databases of ALLPLAN Civil and ALLPLAN with each other. On importing there are available various options for creating the objects on different drawing files:

Structural Members

Structural members are alwsays imported. At this you can choose between 3 different options:

• Active drawing

All structural members are created on the active drawing file.

• New drawing

All structural members are created on a common new drawing file.

• Separate drawings

Each structural member is created on a separate new drawing file.

Constructions, Axis, Extrusion paths, Sections, Tendons

The structural parts due to the constructions defined in ALLPLAN Civil, the generated bridge axes, the connection lines of the cross section points, the outlines of the cross sections and the tendons can optionally be imported. At this for each individual object type the following options are available:

• Same drawing as structural member

The objects are put on the same drawing file as the structural members.

• New drawing

The objects are put on a new drawing.

Note: For tendons, the option Separate drawings is additionally available.

Custom Tree

Select a custom tree created in the ALLPLAN Civil project.

Thereby, all existing structural members in this tree (including, where applicable, their axes, extrusion paths, sections and tendons) are imported into the ALLPLAN project considering their respectively defined drawing file assignments.
