Create New ALLPLAN Civil Project

This function opens the integrated ALLPLAN Civil application for parametric modeling of bridge structures. ALLPLAN and ALLPLAN Civil have different databases. Both databases are automatically linked to each other when using this tool. The ALLPLAN Civil project data is saved in a subdirectory of the ALLPLAN project as follows:

E.G.:

ALLPLAN project folder:

C:\Data\ALLPLAN\ALLPLAN 2026\Prj\example.prj

ALLPLAN Civil project folder:

C:\Data\ALLPLAN\ALLPLAN 2026\Prj\example.prj\Bridge\example

Use the Update ALLPLAN Civil data tool to import the created project data of a linked ALLPLAN Civil project to ALLPLAN or to update it after changes.

Note: The Import ALLPLAN Civil data tool is only used if both project databases are not linked to each other.

How to create a new bridge in ALLPLAN with ALLPLAN Civil

1. Click Create a new ALLPLAN Civil project.

   ALLPLAN Civil opens with the welcome screen. You can also load an ALLPLAN Civil project example directly from here by clicking on the corresponding symbol photo in ALLPLAN Civil.

2. Create your bridge object in ALLPLAN Civil.

   Don't forget to calculate your project in ALLPLAN Civil after completion.

3. Click Update ALLPLAN Civil Data to import the ALLPLAN Civil project data to ALLPLAN.
