The stationing defines the start and end position of the pier on the axis and specifies its subdivision into elements.
It may already be defined within the framework of interactive definition of the girder, or supplementary. Previous semi-automatic definitions may be individually manually modified.
Table Stationing
Input Station
Define the start and end position of the pier and its subdivisions via station values along the axis in ascending order
Note: The station input is done in positive axis direction, i.e. in the normal case (connection of a pier to a girder) from the bottom edge (start position, minimum value) to the top edge (end position, maximum value). The station of the point of origin (e.g. reference point) is zero.
Definition Type
The stations can be defined as local, global, relative or local-end.
Global Station
Output of the calculated input station values in terms of global stationing
Local Station
Output of the calculated station values in terms of local stationing
Station difference
Difference (distance/length) between the actual and the previous station
As beam
The respective part element of the pier is created as beam element for the analysis (only required for use in the analysis model)
Smooth
Special function for smoothing unintentional edges/jumps when extruding the cross sections during model generation
Skip
The respective station is not considered/created when importing the model in ALLPLAN.
Note: Thus, additional stations can be set (e.g. for the static calculation) in ALLPLAN Civil which don't have an influence on the creation of the geometric model in ALLPLAN.
