Change reference of boundary line to parallel line
Change the existing reference of a boundary line to a parametric parallel line
To change the reference of boundary line to a parallel line
- Click Boundary parallel.
- Click the boundary line (or the starting point of the line), for which you want to change the reference to a parallel line .
- Click an existing line to define the reference line of the new parallel line to be created to which the boundary line should be linked.
- Move the mouse in the direction of the desired position of the new parallel line with its linked boundary line and input the desired distance relative to the reference line in the appearing text box. Alternatively, you can define the position directly with the mouse cursor. Confirm the input in both cases with the enter key or the left mouse button.
- Directly change further references of boundary lines to parallel lines (back to 2.) or quit the tool with ESC.
