TCL Editor

Opens a dialog for selecting a saved ALLPLAN Civil project file (in TCL format) for viewing and editing in an integrated text editor or in Notepad++

Note: To save a current project to a project file, use the submenu Export in the Backstage menu or the respective tool in the Quick access toolbar.

By default, when using the tool Edit TCL-file, TCL-files are opened in a text editor integrated in ALLPLAN Civil. However, it is recommended to use Notepad++ which provides extensive functionalities. Moreover, ALLPLAN Civil provides a special syntax highlighting for this editor which can automatically be taken over after installing Notepad++ by using the tool Register TCL-Syntax.

Due to licensing reasons, Notepad++ is not included in the software package of ALLPLAN Civil, but can be downloaded and installed free of charge from the internet. If Notepad++ is not yet installed, this can be done by using the same tool Register TCL-Syntax.
