Defining a Node type structural unit

Define a structural unit that creates a pure node series

This structural unit can be used for special modeling tasks when creating a calculation model and does not require assignment of boundary line surfaces/cross-sections, as a pure series of structural nodes is created at the selected position (no bar elements) - e.g. definition of spring elements linked to these nodes.

To define a Node type structural unit

1. Click Node structural unit.
2. Click on the point of intersection of two lines or on a parametric point at which you would like to position the structural unit.
3. Add further structural units of the Node type directly (back to 2.) or exit the function with ESC.
