Create a parallel line

Create a parametric line parallel to another already existing parametric line.

Hint: Initially there are just the two coordinate axes Yloc, Zloc which you can use as reference lines.

To create a parallel line

1. Click Parallel Line.
2. Click an existing line (or one of the two coordinate axes) to define the reference line of the new line to be created.
3. Move the mouse in the direction of the desired position of the line to be created and input the desired distance relative to the reference line in the appearing text box. Alternatively, you can define the position directly with the mouse cursor. Confirm the input in both cases with the enter key or the left mouse button.
4. Directly create further parallel lines (back to 2.) or quit the tool with ESC.
