Axes

In ALLPLAN Civil axes may either be directly generated or imported from a Bimplus project (see drop-down menu for Login in Bimplus in the title bar).

To generate a new axis

1. Right-click the menu Axes for opening the context menu and select the menu point New.

   A new axis is created in the navigation tree.

2. Optionally edit the name and confirm with the enter key.

   Simultaneously submenu points for the plan and the profile of the axis are automatically generated.

3. Choose in the navigation tree the plan or the profile of the axis to work on the respective item.

   The View window for graphical presentation of the axis in plan or elevation is also opened in accordance with the selected item in the Navigation tree.

The definition of the axis is done by using the respective task areas in the task/tab Axes in the Actionbar. See for this:

Note: If there is a terrain model available in ALLPLAN Civil, you can select and assign it to the axis profile in the property window of the profile to derive the profile data from the terrain based on the definition of the axis in plan.
