Project space

Select a directory, in which the project / project folder should be created.

Project name

Using the project name a project folder of the same name is created in the directory of the selected project space.

The project directory thus created is informatively displayed at the bottom edge of the input window.

Project space + project name = project directory

All data of a particular project is stored in this project directory.

In this way you can create different projects of ALLPLAN Civil in one project space and manage them in an easy way.

Standard

Select the standard [only relevant for the static calculation] - For details see Standard

IFC Bridge Type

Select the bridge type for the attribution according to IFC (attribute IfcBridge) (this is transferred to ALLPLAN)

Bridge Type

Select the bridge type: In general, informative project setting in ALLPLAN Civil (Exception: relevant for the static calculation according to DIN EN - see Standard)

Units

Select the system of units

Project description

Give descriptive text for your project

Create

Click the button Create to create your project according to your defined input.

To create a new ALLPLAN Civil project

1. Open the Backstage menu by clicking the first button of the Quick Access bar at the left edge of the title bar.
2. Select the second menu item New and the submenu This PC.
3. Select a project space by clicking the Browse button.
4. Define a project name in the respective input field.

   The project directory generated by the project space and project name is informatively displayed at the bottom edge of the input window.

5. Optionally you can give a project description in the respective input field.
6. Click the button Create.

   The project is created according to the given input and the Backstage menu is automatically closed.
