Area load for FE bodies

When defining the assembly then first the body to be loaded and then the side of the body to be loaded is interactively selected via a docking point (defined on this page). Alternatively, in the second step, the side to be loaded can be selected in the properties window (FRONT, BACK or LATERAL).

Arguments

Area load size

qfact

Factor or expression for the application (multiplication) of q

lsurf (optional)

Surface for specific definition of the area load q according to shape and intensity (for details see Surface)

vx

Global x-component of the direction of the load

vy

Global y-component of the direction of the load

vz

Global z-component of the direction of the load

Note: If all three components are not entered, the surface normal of the loaded surface is used to define the direction of the load.
