Stakeout data

Display or output (export to MS excel) the stakeout data (global coordinates X,Y,Z) of particular geometric points of a structural member (girder, pier, link girder, deck, body).

This function is called up via the context menu (right mouse button) of the respective structural member.

To show/output the stakeout data

1. Right-click on the entry of the structural member of which you want to show the stakeout data to open the context menu and select the menu item Output Axis Data.
2. Define the following parameters for displaying/outputting the stakeout data in the opening input window:

Reference Points / Point Grids / Placements

Select by the respective checkboxes, if the data should be output for all (or no) points of the respective type or alternatively, input the name of a particular point.

Note: The syntax for the input of a particular point of a point grid is as follows: name_point_grid(u:v). Example: Name of the point grid Grid 1, name of the grid point: P3:2, syntax: Grid 1(3:2)

Step

Step width for the stations of the structural member to be listed at which the data should be displayed (starting from the starting station)

The value 0 outputs the data at all defined stations of the structural member.

Note: For points of the type placement, the data is always displayed only at the defined stations irrespective of this value.

File for Excel export

Select by the checkbox, if you additionally want to output the data into an Excel-file and optionally input a respective file name.

The file is saved to a subdirectory of the project directory (.../Reports/Stakeout).

After confirming with OK, the data is displayed in a table for the defined stations in the View window. The data of different types of points are output in different tabs / sheets.

Note: Alternatively, you can also export the displayed data (active tab) into an Excel sheet by using the function Export to Excel file (actionbar Results).
