Syntax

ACTIVATE arg1 arg2 arg3 arg4 arg5 arg6

Description

To simplify the input of various properties of the tendons, the properties can be activated. These properties then apply to all subsequent tendons.

Arguments

Minimum quantity: 2

arg1

Value

Dimension

Meaning

PROPERTY

KEYWORD

Various attributes follow as the next arguments.

arg2 (arg1 = PROPERTY)

Value

The material properties follow as the next arguments.

TSECTION

KEYWORD

The section details follow as the next arguments.

TFRICTION

KEYWORD

The friction details follow as the next arguments.

ANCHORB

KEYWORD

The name of the anchor follows as the next argument.

ANCHORE

KEYWORD

The name of the anchor follows as the next argument.

HOOK

KEYWORD

The parameters of the hooks follow as the next arguments (PRETENSION only).

LDEBOND

KEYWORD

The anchorage lengths follow as the next arguments.

arg3 (arg2 = TTYPE)

Value

Dimension

Meaning

POSTTENSION

KEYWORD

Prestressing with subsequent bonding (default): Older models do not yet distinguish the property, therefore this property applies if not specified).

PRETENSION

KEYWORD

Pretensioning with immediate bonding. A tendon of this type does not have a duct and always consists of only one strand.

arg3 (arg2 = MATERIAL)

Value

Dimension

Meaning

mname

TEXT

The material name can be chosen arbitrarily. Materials are classified in Allplan Bridge under the selected standard or its annex. Therefore, the material name to be entered here consists of 2 parts, separated by colon: "stdname:matname".

If the material is not known in the project, then certain calculations will not be possible and the material will only be identified by name in various places.

arg4 (arg2 = MATERIAL)

Value

Dimension

Meaning

DMETAL

KEYWORD

Duct material Metal

DPLASTIC

KEYWORD

Duct material Plastic

arg3 - arg5 (arg2 = TSECTION)

Value

Dimension

Meaning

dduct

LSMALL

Duct diameter (not for PRETENSION)

astrand

ASTRAND

Strand area

nstrand

INT

Number of strands (1 for PRETENSION)

arg3 - arg5 (arg2 = TFRICTION)

Value

Dimension

Meaning

my

DOUBLE

bwobble

[rad]/LSTRUCTD

Unintended deviation

kappa

DOUBLE

Friction factor

arg3 (arg2 = ANCHORB or arg2 = ANCHORE)

Value

Dimension

Meaning

anchor

TEXT

Name of the Allplan macro that represents the geometry of the anchor in the Allplan model.

arg3 (arg2 = HOOK)

Value

Dimension

Meaning

TBEG

KEYWORD

This is followed by up to 3 inputs for the hook at the start of the beam.

TEND

KEYWORD

This is followed by up to 3 inputs for the hook at the end of the beam.

KEYWORD

This is followed by up to 3 inputs for the hook at both sides of the beam.

arg4 - arg6 (arg2 = HOOK)

Value

Dimension

Meaning

Length of first piece

hl2

LSTRUCTD

Length of 2nd piece or 0.0

hf3

DOUBLE

Factor for the calculation of the 3rd piece or 0.0

arg3 - arg4 (arg2 = LDEBOND)

Value

Dimension

Meaning

LSTRUCTD

Unbonded region at begin

dl2

LSTRUCTD

Unbonded region at end, default: dl2 = dl1

arg3 - arg4 (arg2 = LANCHOR)

Value

Dimension

Meaning
