Syntax
VARIATION arg1 arg2 arg3 ....
Description
Options to adjust the cross-section variation are set.
Arguments
Minimum quantity: 1
arg1, arg2, arg3, ....
Value |
Dimension |
Meaning |
VARLINEAR |
KEYWORD |
The variation of cross sections with the use of mathematical expressions allows arbitrary adjustments. It should be noted that the value of a variable is valid from the considered to the next station point. Avoiding the use of tables can result in unwanted levels. Using this option forces a linear progression between stations. |
YGASSG |
KEYWORD |
In early Allplan Bridge models, global station = local station was set for piers. This is unfavorable in certain cases. However, the behavior of the program could not be changed subsequently for compatibility reasons. This option now allows variation using the global Y coordinate (YGASSG=YGlobal As Station Global). This option is activated for all newly defined piers. Only for PIER. |
h0 |
LSTRUCTD |
Reference height (for arg_i-1 = YGASSG), is overwritten by the 1st reference position |
Scopes
GIRDER, DECK, PIER, LGIRDER
Examples
VARIATION VARLINER
Linear variation between stations, visible in the Allplan model.
VARIATION YGASSG 40.0000
Use of global Y coordinate as global station enabled and the initial reference altitude is 40.
