Syntax
SYSTEM arg1 arg2 arg3 arg4 arg5 arg6
Description
Definition of the connector for inserting an external border line (EXTREF).
Arguments
Minimum quantity: 1
arg1
Value |
Dimension |
Meaning |
name |
TEXT |
Name of the boundary line in the host cross section where the external boundary line should be positioned (arg2 = POS, CENTER, NEG) or name of a parametric line in the host cross section. |
arg2
Value |
Dimension |
Meaning |
POS |
KEYWORD |
Transverse position at the boundary line (arg1), positive thickness direction |
CENTER |
KEYWORD |
Transverse position at the boundary line (arg1), center line |
NEG |
KEYWORD |
Transverse position at the boundary line (arg1), negative thickness direction |
LINE |
KEYWORD |
Using a parametric line instead of a boundary line to position the external boundary |
arg3
Value |
Dimension |
Meaning |
line |
TEXT |
Name of the parametric line in the host cross section where the external boundary is to be positioned (by intersecting the boundary) |
arg4
Value |
Dimension |
Meaning |
isect |
INT |
The position in the target cross section is defined by the intersection between the boundary line (arg1) and the parametric line (arg3). There can be several intersection points. An intersection is selected by the number. |
arg5
Value |
Dimension |
Meaning |
POS |
KEYWORD |
Direction of the distance in positive normal direction of the parametric line (arg3) |
NEG |
KEYWORD |
Direction of the distance in negative normal direction of the parametric line (arg3) |
arg6
Value |
Dimension |
Meaning |
POS |
KEYWORD |
Alignment of the inserted boundary line in the positive normal direction of the connecting line (arg1). |
NEG |
KEYWORD |
Alignment of the inserted boundary line in the negative normal direction of the connecting line (arg1). |

Examples
SYSTEM "Boundary1" CENTER "L28" 2 POS NEG
The external border line is positioned at the boundary line "Boundary1” of the target cross section. The center line of "Boundary1” is used for this purpose. The intersection point 2 of the parametric line "L28” is used as the position. The direction for the distance to "L28” is applied in mathematically positive normal direction of "L28”. The boundary line is applied to the mathematically negative side of the boundary line "Boundary1”.
