Subtract a structural member of the type Body from another
Using this operation, creates a new body from the first body as the result of the operation. In most cases, for practical reasons, the second body can be marked as auxiliary body so that it doesn’t remain part of the geometric model. However, it still remains in the background and thus, geometric changes of this body will parametrically influence the result of the Boolean operation.
To subtract one body from another body
Note: The first body is the superordinate body from which the second body is subtracted, thus the Boolean operation is also saved under the first body. The respective definitions of the Boolean operations are saved in the submenu Booleans of the structural members of the Bodies in the navigation tree and can also be edited there.
