Move / Reset slider

Interactively change the length and the offsets of prisms and their variables by sliders

Depending on the type of definition of the prism, there are sliders for the offsets from GP1 and GP2 and sliders for the length of the prism. In addition, there are sliders for changing the values of the variables defined in the cross section of the prism.

All prisms have a slider for the offset from GP1 at their start position. Prisms that are defined relative to GP1 (by length) have a slider for that length at their end position. All prisms otherwise defined have a slider for the offset from GP2 at their end. Further, there is a slider for each variable defined in the cross section of the prism at the respective position in the cross section plane in the middle of the prism.

The values defined by changing the sliders are linked to the respective values in the Property window.

• After marking the prism and selecting the tool, choose the wished slider and define the respective length interactively with the mouse or numerically via the input field at the cursor.

Alternatively, you can also directly select the slider and then activate the tool for moving.

Use the tool Reset slider (analogously) to reset the respective offset values to zero and the variable values to their values defined in the cross section. (This tool is not applicable for the length of prisms).
